OUR LEADERSHIP
Dan Rexford
Dan has over 20 years of experience in the engineering, land surveying and site work industry. He graduated from Vermont Technical College in 1998 and worked in the Consulting Engineering industry for 13 years gaining a breadth of knowledge in Civil Site Design, Land Surveying, Permitting, and Construction Inspection.
Dan was licensed in the State of Vermont as a Land Surveyor in 2008. That same year he went to work in the excavation industry, being brought on as a partner of a local company. In 2017, he purchased that company with the help of Brett and Dean Bartlett and started Rexford Sitework Services, Inc.
Dan is the Site Supervisor, provides project pricing, performs the layout and labor, while managing all of the projects from start to finish.
OUR TEAM
Andy Blades
Andy is our Loader Operator and company comedian. He brings over 30 years of excavation experience to the table. He worked for Ralph B. Goodrich for many years gaining extensive knowledge in all aspects of excavation and site work. He is integral to our operation and can always find a way to lighten up everybody’s day. Andy is the longest running employee of RSS (including his time at the prior company) 16 years.
Josh Laflin
Josh is our Excavator Operator and Foreman. He came to us after a few years working as an electrician. He told me he always found himself wanting to be doing the dirt work while he was on site with the electricians, so he decided to make the switch. Josh started with us as a pipelayer and equipment operator and has worked his way up to Foreman, running the pipe crew and doing layout. He brings a lot of knowledge to the ditch, is eager to learn different ways to get things done and performs his work with quality in mind. Josh has been with us since 2020.
Blake Pinello
Blake is our head pipelayer and has been with RSS since 2021. Blake grew up around the excavation business with his father doing various types of excavation work. His desire to learn new things and to take on new challenges has been critical to the continued growth of this company. His consistently steady work ethic keeps things moving in the ditch, all while learning the basics of layout, equipment operating and maintenance. He has taken on incredible responsibility here, has excelled and become a valued member of our team.
Brett and Dean Bartlett
Brett and Dean are partners at RSS. They have over 30 years of experience in Site Development and residential foundation excavation and backfill. While maintaining their business and workload, Brett and Dean provide RSS with on call trucking, equipment and labor when the need is there. Their background is integral in helping RSS become an all-inclusive site work contractor, reducing subcontractors for our clients, and streamlining the process from breaking ground to project completion.
